We are seeking a full-time staff pastoral position to work primarily alongside our Senior Pastor to serve the Mandarin-speaking congregation and especially focused on our students and young professionals and families within the Mandarin-speaking congregation. This includes attending pastoral staff meetings, church council meetings, pastoral care, preaching for the Mandarin-speaking worship service, leading various adult and youth ministries, and assisting in other areas of the church when called upon and if able.

For those applicants not yet ordained, the expectation is that this position would be a path towards ordination.

Job Description

Responsibilities

This is a full-time pastoral position to serve alongside our Senior Pastor and Associate Pastor, ministering primarily to the Mandarin-Chinese speaking congregation of our church

Expository preaching primarily in the Mandarin-Chinese speaking worship service

Conduct prayer meetings

Participation in ministry and leadership meetings including pastoral staff meetings

Leading various Chinese speaking ministries

Participate with the staff pastoral team for member care, discipleship, evangelism, and church events.

Fulfill other responsibilities as ministry needs arise
