Positional OverviewThe Imagine Group is recruiting for an EHS Manager on behalf of our client, a leading global dairy manufacturer based in Buffalo, NY. The company produces trusted cheese, yogurt, and dairy products worldwide.
Role & Responsibility- Develop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Lead safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments, identifying hazards and driving corrective actions
- Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences
- Deliver EHS training and coaching to employees and leadership to promote a proactive safety culture
- Track, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics, recommending continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support sustainability, environmental compliance, and operational safety initiatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Chemistry, Biology, and Physics as they relate to EHS and Property Loss Prevention
- Experience coordinating, facilitating, managing, and training others
- Process safety management experience is favorable
- Ammonia system experience is highly desired
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial EHS and Property Loss prevention
