• Provide engineered drawings for HVAC control systems and review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects.
• Produce accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using AutoCAD.
• Size control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and related components for HVAC systems.
• Design systems with typical DDC control lines (e.g., Schneider Electric, Tridium, or similar).
• Write and understand the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems and assemble submittals and O&Ms for projects.
• Mentor and guide junior design engineers to support their growth within the team.

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other STEM field with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in controls design engineering, or 8+ years as a controls technician.
• Solid knowledge of electrical circuits, HVAC, sensors and signal types, and controls required.
• Familiarity with common control sequences including ASHRAE Guideline 36P.
• Demonstrated ability drafting control drawings in Visio, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to manage a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other STEM field with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing control systems using Schneider Electric Eco Struxure and Space Logic.
• Working knowledge of security systems, including surveillance cameras, access control, and fire alarm systems.
