Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

We are currently seeking a resourceful, self-motivated and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer with the ability to provide high-level engineering services for a broad range of clientele. Applications for this position are primarily sought for Pittsburgh, PA;
Camp Hill, PA;
Baltimore, MD and Annapolis, MD, but are also being accepted for B&L’s other office locations in New York. The position offers excellent career growth and advancement potential for the selected individual.

• Provide high-level electrical engineering services for municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, including architects and other engineers, to develop integrated and well-coordinated design solutions.
• Design and manage projects ranging from small to large scale, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes.

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10-15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and capability to design and manage projects across electrical building and power distribution systems.

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure in NY, PA or MD (or eligibility to obtain).
• Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP are a plus.
• Strong communication and writing skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit; familiarity with IEEE, NFPA, and state building codes.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and assist with proposal development.

Estimated Pay Range: $115,000 - $145,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, location, market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials.
