Moog Inc. invites applications for the role of Electrical Design Engineer, Test Equipment within our Space & Defense Group in East Aurora, NY. The position is onsite in Buffalo, NY and reports to the Manager Sr., SDG Engineering.
OverviewAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you will design and develop electrical test equipment, assemblies, and processes to meet cost, schedule, and performance goals. Your work will support verification of functional performance for products used on military, commercial, and space vehicles.
Responsibilities- Operate as a key team member for creative, independent engineering.
- Consult with internal customers to develop new test equipment.
- Validate conceptual solutions through trade studies and analyses.
- Integrate electronic components into higher‑level systems and test designs.
- Support Assembly and Test technicians during development activities.
- Contribute to work estimates for design and development efforts.
- Maintain engineering records, document changes and their performance impacts.
- Conduct specialized research independently.
- Create reliable designs through comprehensive experimental development programs.
- Document designs, analyses, and test results in accurate, concise reports.
- Demonstrate teamwork and effective communication.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience OR Master of Science in Engineering with 3 years of experience.
- Self‑motivated with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- DOORS experience is a plus.
- U.S. citizenship required due to engagement with military programs.

Buffalo, NY: $70,000.00–$ annually
