Fisher Associates is actively seeking a Bridge Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead bridge design, structural analysis, inspection, and load rating of transportation infrastructure projects. • Lead bridge design, including load rating, structural analysis, and foundation design.
• Develop design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge and transportation structures.
• Maintain detailed records of bridge design documents, reports, and budgets.
• Participate in project planning meetings and align tasks to meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
• Support project managers with schedules, documentation, and presentations as needed.
• Ensure designs adhere to state and local standards, regulations, and safety codes.
• Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed bridge inspection reports and analyze foundation design.
• Provide technical support during construction, respond to RFIs and attend site visits.
• Mentor junior staff and support their technical development.

$100,000–$130,000 annually (actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications/education, and other factors). Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
  Master’s preferred.
• Over 10 years of transportation experience; structures/bridge design experience preferred.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it.
• Proficiency in Micro Station, STAAD, and Bridge Design Software.
• Familiarity with state DOT design standards (NYSDOT or PennDOT preferred).
