- Technical Project Leadership:
Lead the execution of technical projects from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, timelines, and business objectives. Provide hands‑on leadership in addressing complex technical challenges. - Engineering Oversight:
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams (e.g., software, hardware, systems) to design, develop, and deploy high‑quality technical solutions. Ensure the technical feasibility and integrity of the project design and architecture. May lead a small group of engineers to effectively launch new products. - Technical Requirements Analysis:
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications and engineering solutions. Identify and assess technical risks and mitigation strategies. - Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, workflows, and practices. Implement best practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and scalability in the technical execution of projects. - Risk Management:
Evaluate technical risks and propose solutions for risk mitigation during all phases of the project lifecycle. Proactively resolve technical issues by engaging with engineers and architects to find viable solutions. - Collaboration with Engineering Teams:
Facilitate communication and collaboration between development teams, architects, designers, and other technical professionals to ensure seamless execution of complex engineering projects. - Technical Documentation:
Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, requirements, and change‑management records. Ensure proper documentation is available for compliance, audits, and future system enhancements. - Innovation & Technology Evaluation:
Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and tools relevant to the engineering field. Assess new technologies for potential integration into ongoing projects and future product roadmaps. - Design Review & Quality Assurance:
Participate in design reviews and technical assessments to ensure the highest standard of product quality and performance. Support engineering teams in troubleshooting and debugging technical issues. - Cross‑Functional Leadership:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for external vendors, partners, and stakeholders. Represent the technical vision and requirements within the broader project management and business leadership teams.
- Degree in Engineering (e.g., Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering), or equivalent experience.
