Product Engineer

Product Engineer – On‑Site (Tonawanda, NY) - Entry to 5 years of experience

We’re seeking a skilled Product Engineer to play a key role in delivering high‑quality engineering solutions for water, wastewater, and fluid systems applications. In this position, you’ll support the full project lifecycle — from providing accurate and timely responses to customer RFPs to leading award‑phase design execution with clarity, reliability, and continuous improvement.

• Provide detailed technical responses to RFPs, including specification review, BOM validation, and design documentation.
• Lead engineering deliverables from concept through detailed design and drawing release.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless project handoffs and on‑time delivery.
• Apply industry standards and best practices to develop manufacturable, high‑quality solutions.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to technical knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Internship or professional experience in product or design engineering, manufacturing, and ideally in the water, wastewater, or fluid systems industries. Other experience is welcome.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD) and PLM systems.
• Experience with BOM creation, specification review, and design for manufacturability.
• Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, materials selection, and pressure vessel or piping component design.
