Controls Engineer

Talascend is currently seeking a Controls Engineer 3 for an opportunity in Buffalo, New York.

The role involves working on the manufacturing plant floor, focusing on engine assembly and supporting production and maintenance. Candidates will be expected to learn quickly and adapt to an intense, fast-paced environment.

• Support production needs and projects.
• Participate in team carry over meetings and brief stand up meetings.
• Check emails and understand priorities from previous shifts.

• Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-7 years experience preferred.
• Experience working on the manufacturing plant floor, on their feet all day.
• Machine controls experience (Robotics, test systems, PLC, instrumentation, vision systems).
• Team player, good communication, energetic, great attitude, basic knowledge, willing to learn.
• Ability to think on your feet and be flexible.
