BIM Coordinator

Join GHD as a BIM Coordinator in our Northeast Engineering Design Organization. In this dynamic role you will shape the future of digital delivery and design coordination for major projects, leading the advancement of regional BIM practices and ensuring seamless integration between design and commercial management systems.

• Maintain and enhance BIM processes, tools, and templates, creating robust content libraries for project teams.
• Define clear data ownership and transfer protocols, managing consistency and quality across deliverables.
• Monitor progress across multiple disciplines, proactively identifying risks and challenges to keep projects on track.
• Contribute to scope, schedule, and budget planning, implementing rigorous QA/QC measures and guiding software selection.
• Lead BIM designers and oversee BIM coordination activities, ensuring high‑quality digital delivery standards.

• Degree in AutoCAD design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of managing information for multidiscipline projects.
• Experience in BIM coordination, document management, or engineering design.
• Proficiency with BIM collaboration tools (e.g., ACC, Project Wise, BIM 360) and design authoring/software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, AutoCAD Civil 3D).
• Excellent leadership skills to lead a BIM team for design and production.
• Understanding of 4D/5D BIM and ability to support database project requirements.
• Strong communication skills to interact with external entities and interpret BIM/CAD requirements.

Salary Range: $38.00–$70.00 per hour based on experience and location.
