Our EDO is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team and be at the forefront of designing and developing HVAC and plumbing systems for a diverse range of buildings and facilities. • Product and Solution Development:
  Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.
• Personal Capability Building:
  Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfil personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
• Engineering Solutions Design:
  Contribute to the design of engineering solutions; design the feasibility testing approach and supervise its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions.
• Engineering Standards Specification:
  Carry out a range of activities under the guidance of more senior colleagues to support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications and the evaluation of the effectiveness of those standards.
• Improvement/Innovation:
  Identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and use established change-management programmes to address them.
• Engineering Inspections:
  Carry out inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues to evaluate the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures, and make recommendations to senior colleagues on the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Project Management:
  Work within an established project management plan to achieve specific goals.
• Knowledge Management System:
  Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
• Client & Customer Management (External):
  Help senior colleagues manage client and customer relationships by using relevant sales or client systems.

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–10 years of HVAC and/or plumbing design experience for either public and/or private sector; previous consulting experience highly desired
• Solid understanding of state and national building and energy codes and standards
• Must be familiar with HVAC load calculation software and Revit
• Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written

Salary Range: $72,000 – $144,500 based on experience and location.
