Senior CAD Technician

Located in Buffalo, New York, AECOM’s Remediation team seeks a senior CAD technician responsible for drafting/modeling across Environment, Water and Transportation projects.

The successful candidate will work with a diverse team of technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas, delivering professional consulting services to key clients.

• Serve as a senior resource for CAD drafting/modeling at the project level.
• Prepare high‑quality design deliverables.
• Perform drafting/modeling while adhering to accepted engineering practices, company and client standards.
• Assist in developing, implementing and deploying CAD standards at the office level.
• Help train and develop other CAD professionals.
• Collaborate with design professionals on projects producing deliverables with minimal supervision.

• High school diploma + 6 years of related experience or equivalency.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and successful passage of AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records Review.

• Associate’s degree in engineering, design, environmental science or related field.
• 7+ years experience in an environmental consulting firm.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, and Open Roads.
• Experience with surveying and grading design.
• Experience with Revit and BIM, able to produce construction documents from start to finish.

Hourly rate ranging from USD 32 to USD 41, commensurate with education, qualifications, experience and location.
