Role Overview:
The Global Environmental & Emergency Planning Manager will develop and maintain Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, conduct site inspections, provide training, collaborate cross‑functionally, monitor performance metrics, and continuously improve EHS programs.

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations on a global scale.
• Help sites implement Emergency Response Plans.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Provide EHS training and support to employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into project planning and execution.
• Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure continuous improvement of EHS programs.
• Support domestic and international business travel, up to 20%.

• Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Over five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of international EHS regulations with extensive knowledge of the National Response Framework.
• Significant experience conducting internal and external audits.
• Proven ability to assess and develop comprehensive corporate EHS policies for organization‑wide implementation.
• Demonstrated expertise in fostering collaboration across diverse, multicultural, and geographically dispersed teams.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, HAZWOPER) are advantageous.
