Market Sector Team Lead – USA

Arcadis is a global firm delivering sustainable design, engineering and consulting solutions for natural and built assets. As Market Sector Team Lead within the Design and Engineering Division, you will lead a team of 3–5 Design Managers and drive delivery of innovative Market Sectors (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil).

• Lead a team of 3–5 design managers, setting clear objectives, ensuring access to the skills, tools and resources to deliver innovative project outcomes and champion professional growth.
• Establish and monitor team objectives, maintain high project quality standards, review performance and oversee financials, scheduling, staffing plans and client satisfaction.
• Serve as a key contact for market sector opportunities, lead or contribute to proposal teams, negotiate contracts and achieve commercial objectives. Participate in post‑bid reviews to capture lessons and drive continuous improvement.
• Act as Project Director when required, providing strategic oversight and ensuring consistency across high‑risk or high‑value projects.

• Over 15 years of experience, including extensive consultancy on large‑scale Architectural/Engineering projects and oversight of multiple disciplines.
• Expertise in a Key Service Line or Market Sectors and Arcadis Project Manager Certification.
• Experience managing small teams (3–5 persons) across geographies and time zones using technology.
• Advanced competency in business development and project planning tools, including data analysis.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture Business, Management or related field.
