Controls Engineer

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in global propulsion systems, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing and control systems projects.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Buffalo, NY

Pay Range: $45 - $47 per hour

PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE OPEN TO WORK ANY SHIFT + 20% travel is expected (approx 6 times per year).

• Engineer and design pneumatic piping diagrams to support manufacturing processes.
• Engineer and design electrical wiring diagrams for control systems.
• Design hydraulic piping diagrams to ensure efficient system operation.
• Create electrical control panels to meet project specifications.
• Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) software and human-machine interface (HMI) software for automation systems.

• Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience working on manufacturing plant floors with control systems.
• Proficiency with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software.
• Experience with AutoCAD and basic electrical standards.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week, with flexibility for occasional travel up to 20%.
