Semiconductor Devices and Microelectronics Engineer AI Training

Apply semiconductor and microelectronics expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through accurate, real-world technical analysis, explanations, and feedback. No prior AI experience is required.

• Analyze semiconductor device physics, operating principles, and recent technology advances.
• Evaluate microfabrication methods, including process integration and yield optimization.
• Provide technical assessments of device scaling, performance modeling, and reliability methodologies.
• Review and critique materials used in electronic and semiconductor device fabrication.
• Create detailed written explanations and verbal clarifications of complex engineering concepts for AI training work.
• Deliver structured feedback that supports technical accuracy and completeness of project data.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project coordinators and other subject-matter experts.

• Advanced degree, such as a Master''s or PhD, in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in semiconductor device design, fabrication processes, and microelectronics engineering.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor physics, device modeling, and reliability testing.
• Hands-on experience with modern microfabrication and process-integration techniques.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with technical publications, patents, or collaborative R&D projects is preferred.

Remote, independent contractor engagement. Work is completed on a task basis, and the time required may vary by experience and workflow. Minimum task-submission requirements apply each week. Roles are typically filled within 48 hours. Selected candidates should be ready to begin initial tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing the required onboarding steps.

Advertised pay range: $66 to $130 per hour. Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications.
