Key ResponsibilitiesYou’ll spend much of your time supporting client engagements by coordinating day‑to‑day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, driving delivery of services to meet deadlines, developing internal team members, and managing engagement economics. You’ll continuously build on your technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and legislation that impact our clients.
Skills and Attributes for Success- Demonstrate an understanding of complex commercial real and personal property tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations
- Develop and deliver quality tax‑planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that exceed client expectations
- Identify and offer opportunities for tax planning and other special services
- Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client’s tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions
- A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant property tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry
- CPA or JD
- Broad exposure to state and local taxation
- Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed and ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment
- A proven record in a professional services environment
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The base salary range for this role in the US is $105,100 to $192,600, with higher ranges for specific metro areas. Our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time‑off options. The hybrid model expects most people to work in person 40‑60% of the time.
The vacation policy allows you to decide how much time you need, and you’ll also have designated EY Paid Holidays and other leaves.
