Investment Banker AI Training

• Conduct company and industry research to support data-driven AI training work.
• Perform and review buyer and target screening, comparable company analysis, and financial modeling.
• Build, update, and troubleshoot detailed Excel valuation and transaction models, maintaining methodological accuracy and logical consistency.
• Prepare and edit client-style presentations and pitchbooks that reflect transaction execution scenarios and strategic rationale.
• Review sample transaction materials for numerical errors, weak strategy, and unclear logic, then provide actionable improvement feedback.
• Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and the effects of key assumptions on analytical outcomes.
• Communicate complex financial concepts clearly in writing and verbally for varied audiences.

• Experience as a former Senior Associate, preferably third-year, or Vice President on an M&A or industry coverage team at a leading investment bank, established M&A boutique, or sector-focused advisory firm.
• Substantial hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes and high-quality client-facing deliverables.
• Ability to produce and review analytical and presentation materials to senior banker or client standards.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, including troubleshooting, scenario analysis, and clear presentation of outputs and rationale.
• Experience with company and industry research, target screening, comparable company analysis, pitchbook preparation, transaction analysis, and valuation methodologies.
• Strong analytical review, written and verbal communication, presentation, attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to identify quantitative inaccuracies and strategic weaknesses.

Remote contract engagement.

$175 to $300 per hour.
