School of Health Professions – Chiropractic Clinician
D’Youville Chiropractic program is seeking an outstanding candidate for the role of Chiropractic Clinician. This role includes a combination of active patient care, clinical supervision, clinical teaching (e.g., in‑services), and student evaluation/assessment in alignment with the requirements outlined by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE). The Chiropractic Clinician will also assist the Director of Clinician Education with direction and guidance of clinicians in the DYU chiropractic clinic network.
All clinicians must embrace ethical, efficient, collaborative, and evidence‑based care and instill these attributes in our chiropractic students. The Chiropractic Clinician is a full‑time administrative staff position.
- Provide feedback about policies, procedures and practices relevant to the clinics
- Assist with supervision and evaluation of adjunct clinicians
- Participate in the training of students and adjunct faculty regarding clinic policies, procedures, and requirements
- Assist with the promotion of events related to the chiropractic clinics
- Assist with outreach to prospective patients and community partners
- Assist with development and implementation of the clinic entrance and exit exams
- Cover clinical shifts as needed when clinicians are unavailable; may be short‑ or long‑term periods
- Provide patient care when interns are unavailable; may be short‑ or long‑term periods
- Assist with the assessment of clinic performance and compliance efforts
- Support and collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Clinical Education in planning, implementing, and assessing clinic initiatives and projects
- Serve on program and university committees as needed
- Participate in enrollment events as needed
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree from a CCE accredited chiropractic program
- Valid New York State chiropractic licensure or be eligible for such licensure
- Five years active practice experience
- Support a culture of open communication, collaboration, and respect for all members of the team
- Deliver constructive, respectful feedback and address faculty, staff, and students in a respectful manner
- Utilize a collaborative approach to leadership and consider faculty and staff feedback in decision‑making
- Ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence in all interactions related to the department and in conflict management
- Ability to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for our diverse students, patients, and campus and community members

Pay: $70,000 – $75,000 Annually
