Licensed Master Social Worker; LMSW

Overview

This full-time Licensed Social Worker position involves direct client contact to certify treatment eligibility and deliver psychotherapy services.

• Conduct Substance Use Disorder and Co-Occurring Disorder screenings, intake interviews, individual and group counseling, family counseling related to addiction, client orientations, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Provide psycho-education, participate in crisis intervention, coordinate referrals, perform case management, and maintain accurate documentation.

  Clinical supervision is not permitted.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work
• NYS licensure (LMSW preferred)
• At least two years of substance abuse treatment experience
• Completion of specific training within three months of hire
