Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Manager, HR Generalist / Talent Management
Hodgson Russ, LLP, seeks a Director of Human Resources to design and deliver HR programs and policies that support firm objectives and personnel across all offices. The Director of Human Resources will develop and maintain employment policies covering all aspects of the employee relationship; design and lead staff talent management priorities, including recruiting, onboarding, integration, training, and performance management; oversee the leave administration program, ensuring compliance and accessibility;
support compensation and reward and recognition initiatives; support employee relations and communications; and identify, design, and implement other HR projects that align with and support the firm's business objectives. The Director of HR reports to the CHRO and collaborates with attorneys and staff across all teams and offices.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience (law firm or professional services background is a plus); strong employee relations experience; a robust understanding of employment laws and policies; business savvy, including the ability to apply data to inform HR initiatives; and a track record of leading with judgment, compassion, credibility, and accountability.

At this time, the good faith estimate of the annual salary range for this position in Buffalo is $130,000 to $165,000. Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
