The Director of Human Resources manages Neighborhood’s HR strategy and collaborates with other leaders to align HR with organizational goals.

As the director of HR you’ll be a member of the senior leadership team, implementing strategies driven by organizational goals. You’ll play a key role in building a positive employee experience - how people join and grow with Neighborhood.

About the Role :

In this role, you’ll report to the VP of Human Resources and lead a team of HR specialists. You’ll identify, encourage, and develop the skills and talents of your team. You’ll bring clarity, compassion, and problem solving to every situation. You’ll blend development and retention of employees through building career pathways and recognition programs.

Responsibilities include:

manage and implement HR strategies

Leadership coaching advising management to resolve employee issues

Develop and direct policy, including leave of absence, performance management

You will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Ave, Buffalo, but will regularly work scheduled time at other sites.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field

3+ years experience in human resources management

Healthcare experience preferred

Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations

Teamwork; you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals

What We Offer:

Compensation: $101, annual salary (based on a full time, 40 hour work week)

Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components.
