The AI Finance Manager is a crucial role responsible for supporting the Finance Applications Data Lead in executing the overall data management strategy for finance applications. The successful candidate will leverage deep expertise in finance applications (planning, reporting, close/consolidation) plus enterprise data management, data governance, data quality, master data management, machine learning, and generative AI to support key finance personas. One key responsibility will focus on developing and implementing our EY AI Finance service offering, creating an industry agnostic data model that ensures data consistency and interoperability across finance applications.

The role interacts with business stakeholders to evaluate models, processes, and operations. It gathers, understands, and analyzes business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and provides in-depth analysis related to implementation, customization, and optimization of specific technology platforms.

• Work closely with finance, IT, and data science teams to manage and utilize finance application data, harnessing ML, Gen AI, and Azure data technologies.
• Lead workstream delivery, ensuring processes, solutions, quality, and risk management.
• Design and deliver system architecture solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
• Drive continuous process improvement through research and analysis.
• Support the development and implementation of the EY AI Finance solution offering and the FDL Blueprint.
• Maintain documentation such as data dictionaries, entity‑relationship diagrams, and data lineage maps.
• Collaborate with cross‑service line teams to align finance application data with related initiatives.
• Support data governance framework execution and stay current with ML, Gen AI, and Azure advancements.

• Bachelor’s degree and ~5 years of related work experience, or graduate degree and ~4 years.
• Minimum 4 years of data management experience, at least 1 year focused on finance application data, data modeling.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, master data management.
• Experience with ML, Gen AI techniques, Azure data services (Data Lake, Synapse, MS SQL, Python).
• Knowledge of finance applications and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in data integration, transformation, modeling tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem‑solving.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

• Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with finance data management experience.

• Competitive base salary ($142,600–$261,500 US, varying by location).
