Role descriptionArcadis is looking for a Senior IT Programmer with infrastructure management and programmer experience for our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance practice. This position will partly involve a wider role with Arcadis’ focus clients, working on market‑leading Digital propositions such as Software architecture, custom app development, and designing analytics on Cloud platforms.
We’re looking for a self‑starter with attention to detail who can demonstrate the ability to prioritize, face challenges and provide solutions in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The role will be technology‑focused and can act as a digital translator. We seek an experienced developer who is data‑savvy, detail oriented and enterprising, capable of helping clients develop data strategies, complex software implementation projects, and drive value with client relationship skills.
This role will sit within the larger Global Resilience Business Area, protecting natural environments and water resources while powering our world for future generations.
Role accountabilities- Align processes and metrics with client risk framework, initiatives, programs and goals; complete large‑scale CI/CD in a production environment.
- Develop robust solutions for business process automation and data pipelines.
- Lead and develop digital and consulting skill sets—including customer experience (CX), design thinking, diagnostic/predictive analytics—to stay at the forefront of relevant and innovative approaches as a consultant.
- Analyze high‑quality data and insights using modern business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Bachelor’s degree and experience in Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience, including 7+ years in full lifecycle of software development projects.
- Proficiency with the full lifecycle of software development from concept to deployment of sustainable digital solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages and automation platforms such as Python, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience with system integration solutions (file‑ or API‑based) using Python or low‑code tools such as Power Automate.
- Experience with development tools such as VS Code, Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or Eclipse.
- Experience with enterprise data management, business intelligence, data pipelines, or data analytics.
- Experience with web services including SOAP APIs and modern OData RESTful APIs; familiarity with Postman and similar API testing tools.
Familiarity with cloud technology stacks such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or others; experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Azure Cloud Platform (e.g., Power Platform tools, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory); experience developing solutions incorporating AI tools such as machine learning or LLM models.

Salary range: $80,461–142,718 (actual salaries vary by experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location).
