Location: 30 N. Union Road Williamsville, NY | Based at corporate office with hybrid flexibility and requirement to visit area offices

Department: eHR & IT Analytics Shift: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Duties
  • Serve as the first point of contact for EHR-related support across the organization, delivering timely troubleshooting and resolution via help desk tickets, phone, or in-person assistance.
  • Document and track support issues, escalating more complex technical concerns to appropriate teams as needed.
  • Maintain the integrity and functionality of the EHR system (MEDENT), including configurations, templates, user roles, and master files.
  • Implement, test, and validate system updates, forms, and features to ensure stability and usability.
  • Monitor and support essential EHR operations such as scanning, printing, faxing, portal messaging, and task routing.
  • Coordinate with IT and vendors to resolve system connectivity or hardware issues impacting clinical workflows.
  • Ensure seamless document and data flow across systems and platforms.
  • Configure and onboard new users by creating accounts, assigning permissions, and ensuring proper access prior to start.
  • Maintain accurate user records and manage deactivations for departing staff.
  • Support the organization’s upcoming transition from MEDENT to EPIC, including data validation, testing, and readiness activities.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to optimize system usage, improve workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. The hiring range is between $74,000 to $87,000

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Health Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in EHR support or healthcare IT; experience with MEDENT or EPIC is strongly preferred.
  • Prior involvement with system migrations or implementations is a strong asset.

Skills &

Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of ambulatory workflows, clinical roles, and how users interact with EHR systems.
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting capabilities combined with effective communication across technical and clinical audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with help desk systems is preferred.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational discipline, and a proactive mindset.
