Desktop Support Technician - Onsite Buffalo, NY

Location: Buffalo, NY

Salary: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00

Job Overview: Join NTT DATA North America as a Desktop Support Technician working onsite in Buffalo, NY. The role involves providing technical support for end users, troubleshooting hardware and software, and maintaining ITSM tool documentation.

• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot computer hardware, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other supported devices.
• Perform general preventative maintenance tasks on computing devices.
• Diagnose and resolve software, operating system, and network issues.
• Interact with end users to identify IT issues, provide clear explanations of resolution, and provide timely updates on progress.
• Respond in a timely manner to end user inquiries and requests, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Manage daily incident and/or request queue from an ITSM tool by accurately documenting work notes and resolution notes.

• 2+ years desktop and/or deskside experience.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• Must have reliable personal transportation (automobile).
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements (ability to lift 50 lbs).

• Strong client service skills.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating system environment.
• A+ desktop or equivalent skill set is highly preferred; additional certifications for various hardware platforms may be required.
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements.

• Travel will be minimal and on an exception basis only.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Undergraduate degree or some college coursework preferred.
