Location: Onsite in Buffalo, 4 days per week

I'm partnering with a leading financial institution in Buffalo to find a hands-on Systems Engineer to keep business-critical .NET applications running smoothly. This is a production support role, not a new build, so it's a great fit if you enjoy troubleshooting, stability, and owning the health of systems the business relies on every day.
What you'll be doing:- Supporting and maintaining legacy .NET applications in production
- Diagnosing and resolving issues across applications, databases, and infrastructure
- Participating in an on-call rotation (one week every three weeks)
- Writing and maintaining Power Shell scripts to automate and streamline support work
- Working within CI/CD pipelines to deploy and manage releases
- Documenting systems, processes, and fixes
- Strong production support background with a systems engineering mindset (more engineer than administrator)
- Experience supporting .NET applications
- Power Shell scripting
- Linux and Windows system administration
- CI/CD experience
- 5+ years in systems analysis or application support
- Jira and Confluence
- Banking or financial services background
