UX Designer, Research Synthesis and Written Communication

• Analyze user research data to identify patterns, user needs, and actionable insights.
• Conduct heuristic evaluations and UX audits to assess usability and alignment with established best practices.
• Create organized research summaries, usability reports, and design-rationale documents.
• Evaluate and document information architecture and interaction design decisions.
• Apply WCAG accessibility standards to assess and improve the inclusivity of digital products.
• Communicate research outcomes and design rationales clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Synthesize complex or conflicting data into concise, structured, evidence-based recommendations.

• 3+ years of experience in UX design, user research, usability testing, or a related field.
• Experience writing research syntheses, usability evaluations, UX audit reports, or comparable documentation.
• Knowledge of heuristic analysis, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
• Practical understanding of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to explain intricate concepts in clear written English.
• A track record of converting complex research findings into actionable, well-structured outputs.
• Experience with leading universities or highly regarded organizations is valued.

Remote contract engagement.

$90 to $140 per hour.
