We are currently looking for an Implementation Specialist to be based out of the Chicago area.
JOB SPECIFICATION- Understand client's business operations and how they can best use Prophet’s ERP software.
- Interpret client needs; configure and implement software solutions to agreed upon, pre-defined blueprint.
- Assist clients in preparing pre-live simulations and testing.
- Adhere to specific project plans and deadlines.
- Liaise with software development team to progress customer-specific modifications.
- Deliver end-user training and train others as needed.
- Complete comprehensive documentation to highest standard including configuration specifications, customer specific process guides and training documentation.
- Support clients through the go-live process.
- Travel to client sites throughout North America;
Travel up to 40% of total time.
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and manage own workload.
- Conscientious and trustworthy.
- Technically minded with a full grasp of mathematical concepts.
- Understanding of standard business system processes.
- Logical and methodical approach.
- Ability to rise to a challenge.
- Tenacity to follow ideas through to completion.
- Proven problem-solving ability.
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to interpret and understand relational data.
- Experience with ERP software and/or software design and analysis.
- Prophet ERP knowledge.
- SQL query writing experience.
- Understanding of programming languages e.g. VBScript.
- Agile project management methodology.
- Knowledge of accounting.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio.
Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical field.
