DevOps Engineer

You should have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including phases such as planning, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This involves knowledge of various methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, and the ability to apply them effectively. Additionally, you should be proficient in infrastructure maintenance, which includes managing servers, networks, and other IT resources. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and ensure the smooth operation of the infrastructure.

Continuous improvement is also a key aspect, involving the identification of inefficiencies and the implementation of strategies to enhance processes and systems. Familiarity with cross-functional team collaboration is essential, as you will need to work closely with teams such as developers, testers, and project managers to ensure projects are completed successfully. • Design, implement, and maintain our cloud and on-premise infrastructure to support our software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate our build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimize our infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our products.
• Implement and maintain security best practices and protocols to protect our infrastructure and data.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability and support for our infrastructure and applications.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, cloud computing, and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI/CD, or Azure Dev Ops.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
