This is a contract, on‑site Oracle Argus role based in Buffalo, NY. The Oracle Argus specialist will manage and support safety and pharmacovigilance workflows within the Oracle Argus environment, including configuration, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of the system. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional Argus configurations, and ensuring seamless integration with related Oracle applications and enterprise systems. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT, and consulting partners, to enhance business processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.

The specialist will also prepare documentation, support testing activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of safety reporting and compliance processes.

• Ability to analyze and improve Business Process workflows related to pharmacovigilance, safety reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in Consulting environments, including gathering requirements, advising stakeholders, and delivering Oracle Argus solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Applications, particularly Oracle Argus Safety, and familiarity with related Oracle HR or other Oracle modules as needed.
• Knowledge of system Integration practices, including interfaces between Oracle Argus, other Oracle systems, and external applications.
• Prior experience supporting or implementing Oracle Argus in life sciences or healthcare domains.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and quality in configuration and documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with business and technical stakeholders on‑site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes, drug safety regulations, and industry best practices is highly beneficial.
