Gujarati Transcriptionist AI Training

Use your Gujarati language expertise to turn spoken audio into accurate, contextually faithful written text for a remote AI training project. This contract role focuses on high-quality transcription, linguistic annotation, proofreading, and consistent treatment of regional and cultural language nuances. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Listen to Gujarati audio and accurately transcribe spoken content into written text while preserving linguistic authenticity and context.
  
  Review, proofread, and edit transcriptions for clarity, grammar, accuracy, and fidelity to the source audio.
• Identify and annotate linguistic nuances, cultural references, and regional dialect variations found in source material.
• Maintain consistent style, formatting, and terminology across assigned submissions.
• Collaborate with project coordinators and provide feedback on transcription guidelines and tools.
• Complete assigned milestones and deliverables according to project requirements.
• Communicate project progress, questions, and potential issues promptly through written and verbal channels.

• Native or near-native proficiency in spoken and written Gujarati, including strong familiarity with regional language variations.
• Demonstrated experience with audio transcription, captioning, or linguistic annotation, particularly involving Gujarati.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high accuracy when converting and reviewing text.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines efficiently, and stay organized in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of transcription software and related tools is a plus.
• Interest in language technology, artificial intelligence, or related projects is advantageous.

• Remote contract engagement.
• Work is associated with an active customer project and includes defined project milestones and deliverables.
• Candidates must be able to manage their work independently in a remote setting.

Compensation is $8 to $12 per hour.
