Norwegian Transcriptionist

• Transcribe Norwegian audio and video content into written text with high fidelity to the original material.
• Review and edit transcripts to meet strict linguistic and formatting standards.
• Annotate and categorize speech segments according to project guidelines.
• Identify unclear or ambiguous audio and provide relevant context or suggested interpretations.
• Work with project coordinators and other experts to clarify requirements and maintain consistency across deliverables.
• Provide feedback that improves transcription guidelines, accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
• Handle confidential information securely and comply with data privacy requirements.

• Native or near-native Norwegian proficiency, including excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or another language-focused discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce precise, contextually accurate work.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with transcription tools, audio-editing software, or linguistic annotation platforms is an advantage.
• Ability to meet project milestones through reliable, high-quality work in a remote setting.
• Adaptability and openness to feedback in a changing project environment.

Remote independent contractor engagement.

$20 to $30 per hour.
