Senior In-House Litigation Attorney – Epic
Join Epic as a Senior In-House Litigation Attorney. This position is based at our Madison, WI campus and requires relocation to the area. Epic recruits nationally and provides financial relocation assistance.
You’ll support our ongoing growth as we expand our offerings and enter new global markets. Your primary focus will be on managing complex litigation and counseling on potential risk areas, including regulatory, competition, healthcare law and more. You’ll assist in handling and winning multi‑million‑dollar disputes, minimizing risk through proactive counseling, and representing the company in high‑stakes legal proceedings. You’ll also forge relationships with vendors and industry collaborators, ensuring compliance with existing and developing legal frameworks in the US and abroad.

- Manage complex litigation, including filing, discovery, briefing, trial, settlement negotiations, and appellate work.
- Counsel management and business units on regulatory, competition, healthcare, and other litigation risks.
- Represent Epic in high‑stakes legal proceedings, including depositions and oral arguments.
- Build and maintain relationships with external counsel and industry collaborators.
- Monitor evolving laws and regulations to ensure compliance throughout the organisation.
- JD or equivalent legal qualification.
- Substantial experience counseling on risk mitigation, drafting motions and briefs, taking depositions, providing oral arguments, leading settlement negotiations, and trying cases.
- Experience in litigation with a focus on competition and regulatory matters is a plus.
- Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
