Job Description

The Director, Contracts and Transactions Counsel is an experienced attorney responsible for providing legal counsel on a broad range of contracting and transactional matters that affect the growth of the organization and the operations of system-wide departments. Works closely with the Vice President, Corporate Counsel and executive and senior members of the organization on contractual arrangements related to goods and services, mergers, acquisitions, and various operational initiatives while supporting corporate compliance with all state, federal and local laws and regulations.

The Director will report to and work closely and collaboratively with the Vice President, Corporate Counsel for Kaleida Health.

Education And Credentials

Juris Doctor required. License to practice law in New York State; good standing required. Master's Degree of Business Admin preferred.

Experience

5 years of experience in corporate law, contract drafting and transactions -- private practice or in-house required. Health care experience preferred but not required.
