Retail Team Manager

This Retail Team Manager position sits with our Swedish Match affiliate, Swedish Match North America LLC, which develops and sells quality products such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. The role is based in Buffalo, NY, and surrounding area.

• Manage and provide direction to all assigned district personnel to achieve distribution and merchandising goals.
• Oversee routing and call coverage of retail accounts to ensure proper execution of objectives.
• Analyze business‑building opportunities and develop execution plans for district personnel.
• Recruit, interview, and select new territory representatives in accordance with company guidelines.
• Provide training, development, and direction to district personnel and measure results using performance management principles.
• Maintain records for district operation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of activities to Retail Operations Manager.
• Travel approximately three days a week with occasional overnight stays.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in non‑durable consumer goods, including field sales and/or management.
• Strong planning, organizing, leadership, coaching, judgement, and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Category Management System (Nielsen), and industry data systems.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

$90,000 to $120,000
