Overview
Serves as a member of the Management Development Program (MDP) and participates in ten weeks of Core Training and one year of On-the-Job (OJT) training. Core Training responsibilities include participation in classroom training, observations of departmental presentations, interaction with senior management, peer networking, and working in teams on two group project assignments. OJT responsibilities vary by department and are assigned by the department manager.
The position may be responsible for additional projects as assigned by the department manager or Leadership Development Manager-MDP.

AdministrativeOperations and Business Analytics
The Administrative Operations and Business Analytics team is responsible for program management of strategic initiatives across the Corporate Security Department. This team serves as a foundational pillar of the department, responsible for policies and standards development, department budgetary planning, contract security invoice processing, M&A due diligence coordination, and Regulation H Board reporting. This team also collects, organizes, and appropriately disseminates security-related incident metrics, data, and reporting for Corporate Security and executive leadership while driving standardized processes across the teams.
DepartmentResponsibilities
- Develop and produce routine, non-complex standard and ad-hoc departmental reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets.
- Support, monitor, analyze and maintain reports related to Corporate Security related to procedures and audit requirements.
- Assist and participate in developing system and process enhancement plans for all Corporate Security.
- Organize, coordinate, and operate meetings with different internal and external business partners.
- Manage and facilitate the planning, testing, and implementation of new projects, systems, products and regulatory changes impacting the department.
- Remain current on business and security threats and trends that may affect the Department.
- Support development and implementation of various operational risk and compliance-related initiatives.
- Any miscellaneous CSO support that could be related to Corporate Security. This could include, but is not limited to:
- Presentation assistance
- Miscellaneous project management
- Vendor management
- Providing coaching, direction, and/or leadership to other team members to achieve business results
- Improve data analysis skills and other report modeling and creation (through excel, Power
BI and other reporting mechanisms). - Project management on internal tasks with a focus on process improvement skills.
- Significant networking and face-time opportunities with the rest of the Corporate Security department, along with business partners in many areas of the bank (and members of ELT).
- Participate in and complete a one-year long, non-rotational training program while creating and adding value to assigned department. Receive job specific training, general training in banking, communication and leadership, and personalized coaching and feedback. Performance measures may include several objective test scores, peer and sponsor feedback from group projects, facilitator feedback, Leadership Development Manager-MDP feedback, Department Manager feedback, final assessment score, and year-end performance appraisal from Department Manager and Leadership Development Manager-MDP.
- Core Training - Participate in ten weeks of training throughout the one-year assignment to learn banking, basic financial skills, technical skills, and leadership/interpersonal skills. Develop a solid understanding of banking functions, processes, and operations.
- Group Projects - Participate in two group project assignments, working with a team of their peers to build relationships within their teams as well as with project sponsors, internal and external contacts, and senior management. Teams make a presentation to senior management at the conclusion of each project providing recommendations and potential project solutions.
