Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Buffalo, NY
.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and facility equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to ensure timely and effective maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality procedures at all times.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
• Maintaining production machines and all facility equipment.
• Performing unscheduled repairs on production equipment and all facility equipment.
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance activities on production equipment and making repair recommendations.
• Detecting faulty, improper, and unsafe operating conditions.
• Using hand and power tools, as well as material handling equipment.
• Collaborating with maintenance and production personnel.
• Complying with safety regulations.
• Maintaining an organized work area and supporting product quality programs.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Welding and fabricating.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with electrical systems.
• Must have at least one year recent senior or supervisory Mechanic experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
• Good mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and plumbing skills.
• Communication proficiency (written and verbal).
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, tools, and supplies, and manipulate heavier loads with team or appropriate equipment needed.
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and safety regulations.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• The ability to work in, on, around, over, and under fixed equipment and machinery, as well as work from lifts, ladders, and scaffolding, is needed.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50lbs as needed.
• Ability to drive and operate a forklift.
