Manufacturing Controls / Automation Engineer

Pay Rate: $48‑54/hour

Duration: 12 months (strong extension and conversion potential)

Shift Preference: Candidates must rank shift preference at the top of the resume. Candidates willing to work only one shift will not be considered.

• 1st: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• 3rd: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Hands‑on manufacturing support role within a high‑volume engine assembly plant. This is not a desk job—80–90% of time is spent on the factory floor supporting production, maintenance, and automation systems.

• Support production and maintenance on engine assembly lines
• Troubleshoot automation, controls, robotics, and vision systems
• Participate in shift handover and daily priority meetings
• Support new equipment installations and improvement projects

• Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred – Electrical Engineering ideal)
• 5–7 years manufacturing plant experience (less considered for strong learners)
• Hands‑on experience with machine controls and automation
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
• Strong communication, teamwork, and learning mindset

• PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell)
• Fanuc robots/cobots
• Vision systems (Cognex, Dalsa, Matrox)
• Automated material handling (AMRs, fork trucks)

• One onsite interview (1.5 hours)
