Requirements- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year experience as a general machinist.
- Demonstrated ability to follow an escalation path as it applied to machining.
- Familiarity with various measuring equipment, including micrometers and dial bore gauges.
- Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions.
- Must enroll and participate in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program as required for safety–sensitive work.
- Ability to work an off‑shift and/or train on a shift other than the hired shift.
- Work from blueprints, process instructions, and/or verbal instructions.
- After training, operate a Sinker or Wire EDM machine.
- Perform inspection of all work using a variety of measuring equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to problem‑solve within their work area.

Buffalo, NY $22.00–$27.00 hourly.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog’s salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range is just one component of Moog’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, an employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region‑specific benefits.
