Global Supply Chain Group Leader

• As a Global Supply Chain Group Leader, you are responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment. Participate in the training, development and evaluation of hourly team members. Participate in the development of highly effective teams.
• Lead Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes and serve as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities in assigned areas. Meet or exceed production cost schedule and maintain quality requirements.
• Maintain awareness of quality standards, communicate department quality goals, and leverage resources to solve quality issues.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with employees, union, and management.
• Implement and follow systems that prevent recurrence of known issues. Promote safe work practices and achieve objectives for ergonomics, health and safety, and housekeeping.
• Motivate, train and develop employees to effectively perform their jobs utilizing standardized methods. Ensure team members receive adequate JIT (job instruction training).
• Achieve production schedules and product requirements by applying lean manufacturing/synchronous principles with emphasis on variation reduction, control costs, and achieving productivity improvements.
• Coach, teach, counsel and mentor Group Leaders in these responsibilities.

• Six Sigma will stand out along with managerial courage
• Experience and/or knowledge with machinery equipment, barring, hydraulics
• Having knowledge of CNC will help huge

• Shift and hours: could be any shift, will be determined after they start. Work is 24 hour, 7 day a week business.
• They work 7 days a week and try to work on rotating schedules, but weekends are expected.
