Group Leader (Global Supply Chain)

$40 - $43 per hour

As a Global Supply Chain Group Leader
, you are responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment. You will participate in the training, development, and evaluation of hourly team members, develop highly effective teams, lead Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS) processes, and serve as a resource supporting launch and pilot activities in assigned areas.

• Meet or exceed production cost schedule and maintain quality requirements.
• Maintain awareness of quality standards, communicate department quality goals, and leverage resources to solve quality issues.
• Motivate, train, and develop employees to effectively perform their jobs using standardized methods.
• Ensure team members receive adequate JIT (job instruction training).
• Manage 20 to 30 leaders.

  Education:
  
  Associate and bachelor’s degree regardless of experience.
• Year of
  
  Experience:
  
  Ideal for a candidate to have manufacturing supervisory assistance. UAW experience is ideal, not required.
• Chance for extension: Yes, there is a chance for extension. We do work around holiday schedule.

Candidate will manage 20 to 30 leaders.
