Full Time and Part Time Available. Day/Weekend Shift, Evening/Weekend, Overnight, and Overnight/Weekend Shifts Available

- Crisis Differential – Earn up to $2,500 annually
- Shift Differential – Earn an additional $1.00/hour for shifts from 4PM–12AM, and $1.50/hour for shifts from 12AM–8AM

- Assess the need for medications targeting specific symptoms of psychosis and other co-morbid conditions such as depressed mood and anxiety.
- Systematically manage and monitor dose changes and side effects in order to ensure the safety and tolerability of these medications.
- Provide ongoing diagnostic assessment.
- Provide psycho-education regarding diagnosis and medications for participants and family members.
- Coordinate with clinical team to ensure quality care.
- Work with the Program Director to monitor the clinical status and treatment response of each served individual.
- Conduct assessments which include psychiatric history, illness course, treatment response, MSE, and arrive at I through V diagnoses and share results with team.
- Direct psychopharmacologic and medical treatment and collaborate with the team nurse in assessing client physical health.
- Assist in providing education to clients regarding their illness, response to treatment, and possible side effects of medications.
- Oversee and sign treatment plans and participate in treatment planning process.
- Ensure appropriate coordination of care with client PMD's.
- Make recommendations for specialty care.
- With other team members, provide support, education, and counseling to family members to help in the understanding of mental illness.
- Provide management and/or consultation in crisis situations.
- May be required to submit written reports and/or verbal testimony and presentation of opinion in legal proceedings.
- Complete all trainings required by the agency.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Valid NYS licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- 2 years of experience working with children & families preferred.
- Experience in mental health or substance use disorder treatment setting preferred.
- Ability to work successfully in a team setting and fast paced environment.
