We are seeking a psychiatrist who is passionate about providing high quality care to children, adolescents and adults.

About the Role:

As a psychiatrist, you'll use your training, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills in providing compassionate care for patients.

Responsibilities include:

* Provides short and long term psychotherapy and the concurrent use of medications for patients throughout the age spectrum including medication monitoring and adjustment and timely refills

* Establishes a database on patients by obtaining an appropriate health, developmental and psychosocial history, as well as through screening and diagnostic procedures and tests

* Educates patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders

* Develops and implements individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication and behavioral interventions

* Diagnoses mental illnesses based on assessment

You will be primarily based at our Blasdell location, 4233 Lake Ave in Blasdell.

Education and Skills to be a Psychiatrist:

* Must be a graduate of a four (4) year recognized medical school; must have completed residency in appropriate field

* Must possess a current NYS physician license and be a Board eligible/certified in field of specialty

What We Offer:

Compensation: $265,000 - $285,000 annually (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)

Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components

Tuition Reimbursement Potential:
Our FQHC status provides a unique opportunity for tuition reimbursement for Nurse Practitioners, up to $50,000 for a full time commitment and up to $25,000 for a part time commitment. A two-year commitment to serve at a FQHC is required. This tuition reimbursement program requires application and is not guaranteed.
