You will be primarily based at the Mattina location, 300 Niagara St., Buffalo, NY, and will travel to other Neighborhood sites in Western New York as needed.
Responsibilities- Provides direct leadership to the LPN desk nurses and MA support team including daily oversight, on-boarding of new employees, and department scheduling
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among the health care team by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in team problem solving
- Collaborates with other nursing supervisors on recruitment, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance appraisals, and, when necessary, progressive discipline of nursing staff to ensure a cohesive nursing team
- Develops, maintains and holds nursing department staff accountable to training protocols for all positions within the nursing department
- Maintains nursing job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; plans, monitors, and appraises job results
- Intercedes to support patients in clinical issues and complaints; assists in de-escalation, documentation and resolution
- Functions as a Licensed Practical Nurse in direct patient care

Qualifications- Graduated from an accredited nursing school
- Five years of nursing experience, minimum
- Must possess a current NYS LPN license
- Must have current CPR certification
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

- Excellent judgment and discretion
Compensation: $32.79 per hour based on a full-time, 40-hour work week.
Plus, this position offers a sign-on bonus for external hires, paid in installments throughout the employee's first year of employment.
