* Summary:

** The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs patient care, health teaching and health counseling in an oncology setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN); assists in the goal of individualizing the care of patients in an attempt to support the patients to adapt to the disease process and achieve the highest level of wellness; performs routine nursing care procedures;

enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
We offer a starting pay of $27.05 per hour, along with a comprehensive and highly competitive benefits package##

* Qualifications:

** Required

Education and Experience    License Requirement  License or permit to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.  

Education and Experience  Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school’s LPN program.

NOTE:

Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

** The preferred candidate will bring a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with a strong emphasis on experience in an Endoscopy setting.
