. We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing
.
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:00am - 2:30pm (PRN)
- Pay Range: $39 - $41
- Support & Monitor Occupational Health Programs – Provide care, oversight, and coordination of a wide range of occupational health services.
- Health Promotion & Education – Develop health promotion programs in collaboration with the supervising occupational physician
. - Medical Reporting & Compliance – Provide accurate, well-documented medical reports and formulate occupational health procedures as needed.
- Health Assessments & Surveillance – Conduct job-specific health assessments, pre-employment exams, and ongoing health surveillance
. - First Aid & Injury Case Management – Provide first aid care
, manage work-related injuries and illnesses
, and coordinate follow-up care per protocol. - Clinical Expertise – Perform phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and administer immunizations as required.
- Occupational Illness & Injury Consultation – Work under established protocols to evaluate, monitor, and report potential occupational illnesses and injuries.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- At least 2 years of experience in general medicine, occupational health, or emergency room nursing.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy, IV blood draws, and immunizations.
- Strong computer skills – Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic medical data management.
- Physical ability – Requires standing and walking for up to five hours per shift; infrequent lifting of up to 15 lbs.
Disability Management:
Support TPA in managing disability cases, fitness for duty exams, and functional capacity evaluations.
Collaborate with local HR and supervisors on the Disability Management Program.
Support Occupational Physician with the Fit for Duty (FFD) process.
Act as a resource to employees and local management for absence control programs.
