Fellowship Job Description

Well Now Urgent Care values meaningful work and offers a dynamic environment to grow our Providers. Our fellowship provides a competitive salary of $85,000 annually and a $10,000 signing bonus for qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

The Urgent Care Fellowship is a minimum 9‑month continuous specialty rotation. Fellows work one‑on‑one under the mentorship of experienced NP/PA faculty, receive hands‑on patient care, and attend ongoing lectures guided by a didactic curriculum.

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic disease.
• Order evidence‑based tests, prescribe medications, and refer to specialists as required.
• Provide occupational medicine services, including DOT examinations and treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuries.
• Perform pre‑participation physicals for camps, sports, and employment.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient charts.
• Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Successful completion of an accredited PA or FNP program.
• Physician Assistants must hold active NCCPA board certification.
• Family Nurse Practitioners must hold active AANP or ANCC board certification.
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of application.
• Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, computer proficiency, and a strong desire to learn.
