Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs an RN Supervisor, you will:
- Schedule and assign nursing staff to meet resident care requirements.
- Create a compassionate environment by providing support to residents and their families.
- Respond to questions and requests from residents and staff, ensuring clear communication.
- Implement rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Safeguard resident confidence by managing confidential information.
- Oversee documentation of resident care services to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Foster a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams for optimal care delivery.
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Valid NYS RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
- A strong and positive leader who inspires the nursing team.
- Familiarity with EHR and ePrescribing programs.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with residents and staff.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
