Registered Nurse – CVICU

White Plains, NY | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) or Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) setting
• Manage and monitor fresh open heart surgery patients beginning on post-operative day zero
• Utilize the Epic electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a high-acuity environment

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Influenza vaccination required — no exemptions accepted
• Prior experience in CVICU or CTICU, including care of post-operative open heart patients

• Experience managing patients on post-operative day zero following open heart surgery
• Familiarity with cardiothoracic surgical protocols and hemodynamic monitoring
• CCRN or relevant critical care certification
